On 19 June we opened our doors to the community and other service providers. It was a day that showcased how the aged care and health industry works together to support our seniors and each other.
Family Information Night
Thank you to those who attended our second Family Information Night on 27 May. At Rockpool, we are focused on resident centered care and with this, open communication and transparency are pivotal. This event is held quarterly and is an informal way to provide updates on our home from key personnel on our Rockpool team….
Christmas at Morayfield
After quite a big 2020, we were able to celebrate Christmas in our big Rockpool family! A day packed with Christmas bingo, a festive lunch, a sausage sizzle with family and friends, and live entertainment (because who doesn’t love a little dance)! It was such a great day with love and laughter throughout the home. Thank you to our great staff for helping make this celebration happen and the families and friends that came by to spread some Christmas cheer.
Virtual Tai Chi & Kiosk Trolly
Who says lockdown has to be boring! At Rockpool Morayfield we’ve been able to keep our residents connected and doing what they have always enjoyed on our social calendars! Thank you to Simon for signing on virtually and doing a LIVE Tai Chi class, and thank you to our residents for their amazing adaptability!
