About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is central to leading and overseeing safe and effective care work undertaken by other categories of health workers. The RN is responsible for ensuring adequate supervision and appropriate delegation of care to other staff with the appropriate skills and expertise, while retaining overall accountability for the provision of quality, coordinated care. The RN is also responsible for providing clinical management and staff management, ensuring excellence in resident care through the provision of a consumer-focused approach to all stakeholders. The RN facilitates the delivery of high-quality nursing care, blending skills in chronic and acute illness, with an individualised, person-centred approach to the nursing care of all residents.
If you are interested in working in a dynamic team environment, we have variety of shift times available including morning, afternoon and night shifts available. We offer full-time, part-time and casual shifts which cover 24-hour, 7-day a week roster. This position is for either home. Please specify choice on application.
Mandatory requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations
- Current flu vaccination
- Ability to undertake police check
