Thank you to those who attended our second Family Information Night on 27 May. At Rockpool, we are focused on resident centered care and with this, open communication and transparency are pivotal. This event is held quarterly and is an informal way to provide updates on our home from key personnel on our Rockpool team.
We were delighted to be joined by Michael Watson (CEO), Karen Conroy (Care Manager), Matthias Larcher (Hospitality Services Manager), Sydney Roberts (Marketing & Communications) and Desma van Rosendal (Facility Manager) who joined remotely as she was unable to be onsite. But most importantly, we had Mickey our cavoodle! Topics discussed ranged from announcing our Open Day happening 19 June to Rockpool Carseldine and how Morayfield’s call bells and RTLS badges allow us to consistently monitor resident care.
Our guest speaker, Lisa Hay, joined us from Medline to discuss the importance in continence aids and high-quality skin care products for residents at Rockpool. We are committed to offer all the residents at Rockpool Residential Aged Care a wide range of continence care products that promote individualised care and a better quality of life in aged care.
The family members in attendance enjoyed nibbles and drinks while hearing from each member of our management team that was there and were able to ask questions and give specific ideas or feedback if they saw fit. It was a great way to get candid and robust conversation in an intimate setting. We hope to seek more next time as we continue seeing the guest list grow!
