Residential aged care reimagined

Rockpool residential aged care South East Queensland

Rockpool celebrates and nurtures its residents by delivering exceptional care in a kind and supportive environment.

Thoughtfully designed and built communities support up-to 30 residents, with a shared lounge and dining area located at the heart of each community. This best practice approach prioritises care, support and enables meaningful friendships between the residents.

Luxurious, self-contained rooms provide residents with their own private sanctuary, but with enough space to host and entertain family and friends. Residents also have access to domestic kitchens for supervised cooking, walking tracks, an on-site laundry, landscaped gardens, a cinema, a café, outdoor BBQs, a hair and beauty salon, and a fully equipped Vitality & Wellness Centre.

The Rockpool team also provides residents with a variety of stimulating and engaging lifestyle activities including concerts and live music, exercise classes, frequent excursions and art and craft sessions.

Transitioning to residential aged care

At Rockpool, delivering personalised care is a privilege. Our specialised care model ensures dedicated time is spent getting to know residents.
We work closely with residents, their loved ones and team of health professionals to develop care plans that suit their lifestyle and care goals. We see it as our role to not only care for the resident but support their loved ones through this transition and provide ongoing partnership.
Rockpool’s experienced and caring aged care specialists are also available to answer your questions, discuss care options and help demystify what can be a complex and confusing process.

Affordable luxury

At Rockpool, we understand the financial side of aged care can be confusing. The costs for accommodation and care are based on a residents’ individual financial situation. Rockpool’s experienced and caring aged care consultants can answer your questions, discuss your care options, explain the types of fees associated with moving into aged care and help demystify what can be a complex and confusing process.

Transitioning to residential aged care

The transition to residential aged care is always an emotional one – for our residents and their families. At Rockpool, we see it as our role to not only care for and support our residents but to also support their family through the transition and every stage of our resident’s life. Our aim is to provide on-going guidance, support and friendship for everyone involved – the whole family.

It is not unusual for loved ones to resist the idea of moving to residential aged care, which can be very difficult for all involved. Moving from a home full of memories and comfort to a strange environment (even one where the care, companionship, activities, medical supervision, nutrition and independence is first class) is difficult at any age. No one likes change.

Work in a beautiful, vibrant and inclusive environment

Whether you are an experienced aged care professional looking for a more rewarding environment to work in, or a professional from outside the sector looking for a more fulfilling career pathway, Rockpool offers:

  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Professional development, training and upskilling opportunities
  • Employee Wellness Program
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Flu vaccination program.
  • Corporate gym membership.
‘I have to call mum before I visit so she can fit me into her schedule between art therapy class and afternoon coffee at the café with her friends – she always has something to do that sparks joy. Our only regret is not moving mum sooner. She has a renewed passion and enthusiasm for life and is just happier and healthier.’
